Rick Siggins was born in San Francisco in 1973.  After 20 years in New York City, he now lives and works in Sacramento, CA. 

The majority of the paintings reproduced on this website are painted with acrylic paint on multiple, individually stretched canvases.   Those not on multiple canvases are painted on individually cut pieces of paper, which are then mounted on canvas.  All are painted by hand with a brush (a fact mentioned only because their intricate detail often leads to this question).  The prints are made up of individually printed sheets of paper that are affixed directly to the wall.
